Information and Resource Service (IRS): -- walk-in community resource for anyone seeking employment and/or training

Employment Planning and Preparation (EPP) and Job Development and Placement Support (JDPS) -- persons 16 years and over, out of school and out of work, and not receiving Employment Insurance benefits

Service description: Three service components tailored to meet individual needs:
  • Information and Resource Service (IRS) -- workshops, information and resources on careers and occupations, the local labour market, training opportunities and job search strategies
    -- information on apprenticeship training and resources for internationally trained individuals seeking employment consistent with their skills and experience
  • Employment Planning and Preparation (EPP) -- individual support to clarify employment needs and develop an action plan, assist with making decisions, and searching for a job
  • Job Development and Placement Support (JDPS) -- placements into employment for work experience and/or on-the-job training
