You must prepare your own design plans to be submitted to the City. You may be able to do them yourself or you may need an architect planner to do them. The full-dimension design plans must follow a standard. If there are certain structural elements that need to be altered you may need an engineer’s input. Your plans must satisfy the Ontario Building Code and parking requirements.
Note that city staff in urban Development Services are not designers and cannot make decisions for you or give you suggestions. They only accept your plans for approval.
